Tuesday, April 22: Early lesson

For some complicated reason there's no music lesson tomorrow but today, and up at Françoise's house up on the top of that mountain perched above La Salle. So I trek on up there and, arriving in the town a tad early, take the opportunity to drive on up to Ste-Croix-de-Caderle from which the view is on the Blimey! side of stunning. Obviously popular, too - the village has built a special car park where non-residents are obliged to leave their cars instead of trying to park on the kerb as regular mortals do.
The lesson goes well, I feel like I'm making progress even if Daisy doesn't. Well, what does she know - she thinks lawns are just giant ham parks.
No lesson next week, though, and when I get home I realise I've left my sheet music behind. Bum. Still, a good excuse to go out and buy a book or two of sheet music, I recon.
