Wednesday, May 7: On order

So, what are we buying these days? My affiliate report from Amazon for the past month is just in, and heading the list is - why, good grief, it's my book, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Troubleshooting Your PC. How very kind of you all to run out and buy it, I thank you.
Next most popular book is by a man who was a greater writer than I'll ever be, Russell Bulgin - The Very Best of Russell Bulgin 1959-2002. Russell sadly died last year but this collection of his motoring writing is a fine tribute. If you love great, witty, intelligent writing - buy it. Even if you have no interest in cars, this is so well written you'll love it, I promise.
Third comes Buying a Property in France: An Insider Guide to Realising Your Dream. Was it something I said? Don't forget, if you really want to buy a house down here then Mrs K will find it for you.
Your favourite DVD is Gosford Park, which I thought excellent right up to the point where the copper arrives. Then it became a very poor farce, but there you go. Still, the DVD will allow you to watch the good bit and ignore the rest.
And then The Best of The Rest, in no particular order:
