The BMW garage in Nimes calls to say Seàn is ready this afternoon. Actually Mrs K and I are round next door's, erm, passageway for want of a better word when they telephone. We're finishing the wall pointing on the outside of our lounge wall which let so much water through last September during the storms then because the PO hadn't done the job properly - never buy a house from a builder. Anyway, in the end we agree that I can pick him up tomorrow morning, which will save some time here and there.
The wall, since you ask, looks very good indeed. OK, it's grey pointing cement not the yellow or blond either side of it, but (a) we don't have to look at it, (b) it's waterproof, (c) erm, whatever. Something else.
