Wednesday, May 21: The plans have landed

The plans arrive by e-mail first thing this morning, which is impressive. Just about what we wanted, but there's a few points to clear up so I e-mail the architect. Thank you technology for making stuff like this so much easier - who'd voluntarily go back to days of snailmail now?
Saxo this evening; Françoise has brought along a few new tunes, including Mack The Knife, which feels great to play; you can really get right into the tune. Working out the pauses is interesting, too - the effect of waiting half a beat makes a giant subjective difference to the way the tune sounds. Excellent fun.
