What I did for my summer holidays

The reason I haven't written anything in my diary for a while is that Wendy and I have separated and are not living together any more. We're in the process of selling the house and moving into our own homes and we'll get divorced then.
It's all pretty amicable, we still see each other and are working together on various projects including building houses as mentioned before. This all happened a few months ago for us, so while it's news for those we tell we've both moved on and it's old news to us, in a way.
Wendy is staying at Axel's for now until houses are sorted out and she has somewhere to go and I'm seeing Marie, a teacher from Avignon. We're both happy with what's gone down ultimately, although obviously it wouldn't have been our first choice in the best of all possible worlds.
I'll be writing something about this in my diary as soon as I get a chance, but (a) it's difficult to know what to say and (b) I really haven't had any time, either doing this, the column, the Times, etc etc etc

Hi Chris,

Have been reading your diaries since the beginning. Sorry to hear about what has happened. Best of luck with your projects/ventures in the future.

Take care,

I am happy to see you posting again but, of course, sad to see the reason why you haven't recently.

My best to all involved...

Aloha - Dan

Sorry you've had such a personal upset, Chris -- your presence on site has been sorely missed.

You seem to be bouncing back OK, so I'm sure things will improve for you. As I know only too well, there are a lot worse things than a separation that can happen, but perhaps a new start will bring later dividends.

Sorry to hear your news, Chris. Partings are always sad however amicable they may be. I wish you and Wendy all good things for the future.
Regards to you both,
Ronald

Hi Chris - like everyone else has said, good to see you back, sort of - sorry to hear about the divorce. I hope you both find happiness.

I too have followed your exploits almost from the beginning, and am sorry to hear of the glitch in RealLife 1.0

Hope you both find a satisfying way forward.

Good luck :).
